When I copy and paste from this source it always looks messy for that I apologize but there is nothing I can do to change it. The reason I am posting this is it will have an impact not only on Mother Earth’s over all ecosystem but it will affect the types of esstenial oils, herbs, plants, and flowers we have available to use fo spells, rituals, homemade remedies, etc. Always keep in mind with anything that is affecting our pericous Mother Earth – one person CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE either in a positive or negative way. Let it be said about each of us that care for and nuture Mother Earth that our impact or in modren terms our carbon footprint was small and we did everything we possibly could and maybe to help rejunvanate her for the coming generations instead that we helped to helped to rape and defile her more.
When researchers used machine learning to evaluate 150,000 plant species, they found that 10 percent were likely to qualify for the IUCN Red List
There are nearly 400,000 known plant species spread out across the globe, but as Gregory Barber reports for Wired, less than 10 percent have been assessed by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. In total, the plants actually included on the list constitute just five percent of all known species.
In roughly six hours — the time it takes to fly directly from Washington, D.C. to San Francisco or binge watch the entire first season of “The Good Place” — billions of nanoplastic particles can accumulate in a sea scallop’s muscles, gills, kidneys and other organs.
An international group of researchers observed this surprisingly speedy process, newly detailed in Environmental Science & Technology, during a laboratory experiment that mimicked pollution conditions seen in actual oceans. As Lacy Schley reports for Discover, the scientists mixed a nanoplastic of their own creation—a doctored version of the polymer polystyrene, which serves as a main ingredient in Styrofoam—with the scallop’s main food source, algae.
This article appeared in the news feed on AOL.com it is in a slideshow type presentation but worth reading from beginning to end as it has to do with one of our fellow creatures that inhabit Mother Earth. I applaud the Singapore students for caring enough about this fellow creature to do the right things. The animal’s species is called Pangolin.
For more information on exactly what a Pangolin is here is a link to a general search I did on Google.com More Information about Pangolins I had never heard of this animal before seeing it in the AOL newsfeed. But as it is an endangered animal I want to learn more about it. I hope you do too.
Please leave a thought or two about how you think and/or feel about the trafficking of animals just for the price tag they have on them, especially those on the endangered list.
I had some words with someone yesterday and it got me to thinking I was not being tolerant of how the other person thought of me. I came to realize that the way others thought of me is not as important as how I think of myself. While we all come into contact with people we just for whatever reason do not get along with in any way no matter what the circumstances might be that brought us together in the first place. Even if our relationship with the person starts off in a congenial way and you might not have a clue as to why the other person suddenly attacks you verbally and/or in writing in any way they can and every chance they see. So I decided it was a good time for me to remember tolerance and maybe by sharing it with others their view may change a little about someone they have a problem with. I found the following article well written and it does have good ideas for how you not the other person treat people you come into contact with. Now I know I will not get along with everyone I meet but at least I can come away feeling better about the encounter if I practice tolerance of others. I will take this chance to apologize to the person I had words with yesterday for being intolerant of them as a person.
Most people have trouble being tolerant with others. As a living, breathing society, everyone is constantly learning and adapting to each other—it comes with the territory. But cultivating a spirit of tolerance can bring healing and meaning to your life in unimaginable ways.
Tolerance is your ability to deal with the disagreeable. It’s your capacity to withstand the “yuck” in your life and other people. Sometimes, someone’s disagreeable nature can simply be an annoyance, while other times, it may be much more intrusive.
The practice of tolerance, however, is more about your relationship with yourself instead of with other people. Tolerance can be thought of as emotional or mental perseverance:
The 11th century writer and historian, Adam of Bremen described Gamla Uppsala (meaning ‘Old Uppsala’) in Sweden as a pagan site where a temple dedicated to Thor, Odin and Freyr stood. Adam wrote descriptively, if not always accurately, of the rituals performed there and of the temple itself.
Gamla Uppsala’s Pagan Past
The temple, adorned with a golden chain, was said to be a place where “heathens” would perform animal and human sacrifices , specifically in the sacred grove next to the temple. The trees were “considered to be divine”, and sacrifices —animal and man alike— were said to have been hanged from trees and left to rot, and elaborate ritual songs were sung.
With the coming of Christianity, any temple that might have existed was destroyed, and a church was built over it. Gamla Uppsala eventually became an archbishopric in the 12th century. Still, remnants of its pagan past continued to exist in the landscape of Gamla Uppsala. The ‘Royal Mounds’ endure to this day as a national symbol of Sweden.

Please read Lady Abyss complete message. Her spirit and heart are very sad and somewhat confused right now because she may have to choose between saving her familiar’s, Kade, life and keeping her website Witches of The Craft (a.k.a. WOTC). She has done so much for the pagan community as a whole to show the world we are kind, caring, loving etc people even if we choose to follow a spiritual and magickal path in The Craft instead of a mainstream religion. I ask you to please pray for her and her familiar Kade. To send them strength, comfort, and love. Please pray she finds the funds so she does not have to sell WOTC’s domain and thus her website to some stranger. Also, write her a short note or comment on this post on WOTC not here on Coven Life letting her know she has your love and support no matter what happens with WOTC and you understand that her familiars, Kade, comes before anything else. Write to her at firstname.lastname@example.org In the Subject Line put “For Lady A Only” that way no one else on the WOTC staff will open and read your private message to our wonderful, considerate, kind, and giving sister Lady A. When she started WOTC back about 20 years ago she was a trailblazer as very few if any other websites dedicated solely to The Craft were on the world wide web. I for one would hate to see her have to lose something she has dedicated almost 1/2 of her life to which has made it easier for those of us that have followed her over the years to come out of the broom closet and allowed myself as well as other pagans to feel safe starting their own website.
Now, this next part is our secret please check out WOTC’s store Magickal Necessities you may find something you would like to purchase or give as a gift to someone remember Yule is not that far away. Thank you very much for reading my addition and the post-Lady A shared yesterday.
I hope everyone is having a very blessed Wednesday. I wanted to talk to you about a decision I might have to make within the coming days. The decision involves my familiar Kade and this site or domain. It is a decision I have been weighing for several days now. I know some of you know a little about Kade but I would imagine others don’t. Kade is a cute, adorable Pomeranian and my familiar. I had one before him named Kiki for 13 years. She passed away in my arms several years ago. When she passed, it was one of the toughest things I believe I had ever been through. To this day, I still cry when I think about her. We had a very special bond and part of heart when into the ground the day we buried her.
I would really appreciate you watching the videos, remember to click like after you watch, or visiting her website. If you enjoy what you read click like and also follow her. She is just starting both the website and videos so let’s help support her please and thank you.
While a nation remembers all the people who crossed into the Summerlands from the Twin Towers in NY, NY, The Pentagon in Washington D.C.and in a field in Somerset County, PA on one of the most horrendous days in the United States history. The people left to carry on in this lifetime are often forgotten. Not just the people who got safely out of the Twin Towers but the families and friends of the spirits that crossed and families and friends of those who’s spirit and body lived on with the nightmare they escaped from dying in. Also the families of the terrorists that had no idea what those men were going to do that morning.
Say a prayer and light a candle both for those that crossed the veil and for those left behind. Find it in yourself to forgive the families of the terrorists who did not know what their sons did on that fateful morning that still lives on in our memories today and will for many years to come.
This date September 11, 2001 changed the world forever. Just as December 7, 1942 did.
So I ask you to take at minute at the time of each plane crashed to remember the living and those that crossed into the Summerlands.
All times are given in the USA Eastern Time zone.
North Tower NY 8:46 AM
South Tower NY 9:03 AM
