It is Monday Morning, April 29th, Hail & Well Met,
I am not here to defend or criticize Lady Abyss for her post yesterday. Lady Abyss has been my sister for as long as I can remember. We grew up together and then my family moved to Louisiana. Every time Lady A has needed me, I have come. I will always come to her aid because she is my sister and my family. Like Lady A, I have no one left on this plane to call family besides her. I probably know her better than she knows her own self. She is a very passionate person, loving, caring and most of all devoted. Any cause she decides to tackle she tackles it with every ounce of energy she has and is ruthless in the pursuit of it.
I have read some of your comments in regards to her post yesterday…

White Shell (or White Bead) woman, also called Turquoise Woman or Alone Woman, is so said to be a younger version of Changing Woman. White is the color of dawn and of the east. Whit Shell Woman, the creator and sustained of life, created re Navajo people and sent them their home. As gift, she gave them shells, which became corn and other food baring plants; she gave them the animals; she gave them gifts of rain and beautiful flowers. With the sun, she is the mother of Killer-of-Enemies and Child-of-the-Water, the dual protectors of the people from their enemies.
A Navajo chat says “All things around me are restored in beauty.” It is because of White Shell Woman that this is so, and because of her teachings that we can experience the exquisite harmony that comes from being alive on this beautiful earth.

As the days begin to become longer and the world warms up, it is time to plan this year’s garden. I usually plant the things I know I will use in making lotions, recipes, and crafts. I grow my herbs on my deck so I can step out to snip off a piece to add while cooking. I’m sure to plant more sage and the lavender grows abundantly every year to use making smudge sticks. I used to plant a huge vegetable garden, but the rabbits and my old bones have deterred me these last few years, and I only do a few tomato plants and some beans. As the years have passed I have tried to envision a flower garden with perennials to minimize the time spent working in the garden and more time just enjoying it. I am happy to say I am finally reaping the benefits of preparing our gardens to sprout up beautiful, colourful flowers with minimum work on my part. Have you thought about growing some of the herbs and flowers that you can use to decorate your altar and use in many crafts and recipes? You don’t need to have a big garden. Choose the things you know you will use or find a use for something that grows naturally in your yard. A previous owner was kind enough to leave plenty of lily of the valley for me to enjoy. Something you have grown from a seed or a slip from a plant has your magic touch. You have watered it, provided light and warmth and nurtured it to become hardy, healthy, and bountiful. Some of my best thinking happens while I am caring for my plants. I come up with different ideas of how to use them and I love sharing the harvest with family and friends. Do try to connect with Mother Earth and accept her gifts an she blesses us, one and all.
I don’t know how many of you are familiar with WordPress and their Adwords or not, just in case you aren’t, let me tell you a little secret….they don’t pay unless they see a site is active or making posts, has participation and all that crap. So I decided why not make a post, a good post, one I am sure you will enjoy and WordPress as well.
Most of the time when someone comes out and rants on this site, it isn’t me. It is generally Eleanor or it use to be Mystie. But today, you have the honor of hearing my rant. For the last few days, I have come to reality. It has hit me in the face so hard, I probably won’t see daylight for the next week. I have come to the realization I have been an idiot for all these years, a very big…
