A New Beginning

I have talked many times about having balance in your life on here and I am going to do so again.

My life was very out of balance after losing my mother in 2015 and I thought I was carrying on all my duties as a High Priestess, mentor, wife, mother, and grandmother. But I was not, I was not even doing my duty to myself of keeping in balance, in my power or really any other area of my life within myself. I am very happy to say this is mostly behind me. I took an intensive seven-day training course entitled “Higher Level Human Training” done by a close friend and wonderful mentor and guide Chrystal Kubis. It helped me to shed my fears and still working on but shedding my grief enough so I can really function again in the world I live in, part of which includes you dear ones.

One of the lasts posts I put up before my sabbatical was to ask what you would like to know more about and/or see more of on Coven Life. The one answer I got was more information about Dragons, which I will do a post on tomorrow. So I ask again “What is it that you would like to know more about or what kind of posts would you like to see on Coven Life?” This is a website designed to help teach and guide Pagans and Witches at any level you may be in your studies of The Craft. It gives me a chance to learn new things by doing research to help you.

Check out Chrystal’s website and/or her videos on youtube.com for some very enlightening views and tools to help you reach your full potential.

  1. Greetings Lady Beltane, After 8 years I still feel new to the Craft. I feel like I have not had the guidance I need to move forward. I would like to have more balance and focus so I can move into my own path. It’s difficult for me to know more. But I have benefitted from reading your posts. Thank you.

    1. You are welcome. You might benefit from taking the novice course I offer. What it is for is to teach the basics of The Craft in an order that they build on one another to give you a firm foundation on your path. Read them over and see if you think you might benefit from them. I am starting a new novice class now.

  2. Merry meet Lady Beltane. Wonderful to hear about the progress you are making. Its important you feel strong in order to give strength.
I too feel like Steve , its difficult being a solitaire as sometimes you don’t get the opportunity to experience what a true coven family does. However contact with other likeninded people is important and the knowledge, support and information we pass on to each other is immensely comforting.
On that note I would be interested in finding more information about the workings and the true structure of a coven, expecially from such an experienced Witch as yourself. Personal experiences of gatherings and healings. Stories of support even how you were mentored. What your beginnings were on this path. I have found one thing about being a Witch that all roads leed to self discovery and im glad I’ve discovered CL in my path.
Merry part untill we meet again.

    1. I will be happy to post about the path or I should say paths I have chosen to follow over this lifetime. I do reminiscing over my younger days as a novice and on through the years. When it comes to explaining a traditional coven (one where the members meet in person for Esbats and Sabbats) I can generalize but every coven is a little different because of the people in it and the leaders of that coven.
